About
Brad Nguyen is an expert in explicit maths instruction and supports teachers and leaders to achieve excellent outcomes for students. With a background as a classroom teacher and learning specialist in primary schools, he has also worked with education systems to support the implementation of explicit teaching.
A regular speaker at professional conferences, Brad has presented for researchED, Sharing Best Practice, Think Forward Educators, the Grattan Institute and the What Works series. He is a passionate advocate for explicit teaching in maths and knowledge-rich curriculum, having published writing for Curriculum Perspectives (the official journal of the Australian Curriculum Studies Association) and Agora (the quarterly journal of the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria).
